Hi, I am Garcon and this is my story.  It all started that first day, when new people came and looked at me in that special way that was so welcoming.  I had no way of knowing all the phone calls and e-mails that had transpired to bring them to this place of joining me to their family.  I had no idea of the long trip that they had just driven to pick me up.  I just noticed that they had expressive faces and seemed to understand me right off.  I wagged my tail in greeting.  They are very smart; they understood right away what that meant.
