The following illustrates a typical page of BIRTH OF TAKAIRA, formatted for the INTERNET.

Takaira sat among a group of children and creatures of Lamac, with Anara cradled close to her heart.  There was a quietness surrounding the gathering, anticipation for the tale about to be told.

Anara thoroughly knew the story of Takaira, since Takaira herself wrote it within her heart.  But she would enjoy this outward telling to her friends and companions, of a tale so dear to her.  She snuggled closer to Takaira, relaxing into her strength.

Takaira had a wonderful ability of projecting images into the mind of one, or into the sky above a gathered group.  So her story would not only unfold in words, but with moving pictures, in vibrant, although somewhat transparent colors.

The children closest to the front were those of Anara’s dearest companions, and being Anara’s creature companion, they were also Takaira’s dearest companions.  Their group consisted of Mira, Sedrik, Bry, Kyle, Rylee, Manra and Klista along with their creature companions, Calandra, Hadwyn, Comka, Snarlfluff, Glithor, Pytro and Rikkan.  Anara was three years old.  She was the youngest of the group.  Six months older than Anara was Bry.  But even Kyle, who was the oldest, was only five and a half.  The rest around Anara were four or five years old.

Spreading out in all directions around Takaira and her companions were children and creatures as far as the eyes could see.  They were of all ages, from the very young held by their creature companion or an older brother or sister to those that were much older, but still curious to the tale Takaira had to tell.  It was an amazing sight to see the expressions of expectancy on those faces.  All were ready to listen most intently.  Each was curious of the world that Takaira came from.  They’d only heard bits and pieces of it.  They longed to hear it all.

The creatures gathered also longed to hear Takaira’s tale.  To hear the story through another creature’s perspective was a treat.  To hear of a world before unknown to them, of other creatures unknown to them, sparked their imagination of what else could be out there, unknown to them.
