WHISPERS FROM MY FIELD OF DREAMS

Tommy is an inmate in the California Department of Corrections. He is serving a life sentence for a double homicide in 1975. For the past thirty years he has lived in many prison cells throughout California. He wants you to know this, not so that you will feel sorry for him, but rather so that you may understand from whence the special flavor of his poetry comes. After three decades of being locked away, unable to share the freedom that the rest of us take for granted, he has special insight into that special longing for another person that we call love.

Whispers From My Field Of Dreams is a collection of love poetry unlike any other. In his poems, Tommy manages to capture the loneliness and longing that we all feel at some point in our lives, and to celebrate the loves of our life… wives, children, parents, lovers… in his own unique way.
