Brad L. Johnson was a self-proclaimed “hippie nerd” in high
school...and not much has changed. He has tried his hand at many,
many jobs including chef and restaurant owner, psych tech, collections officer
and sign painter. Through all of these professions, however, he has always
turned to writing to find his true self. In addition to his avid interest
in comics, he has published poetry, newspaper and magazine articles, and
entertainment copy for radio. The first edition of The Comic
Collector's Handbook was produced in 1986. He has an active fantasy
life -- but then again, doesn't everyone?
