A simple traffic stop.

Alone on a dark road, Patrolman Ben Gregor radios central dispatch that he is about to stop a speeding car.  That is his last transmission.  Participating in his partner's search, Eric Jorgansen arrives on the scene where Gregor lies shot to death.  The shock is overwhelming.  Later, he embarks on a quest to find his friend's killers.  It is a quest that leads him down a dark path, and one that may well extract the ultimate price before justice is done.

Former small town cop, ERIC JORGENSEN, wakes up in a D.C. hospital, having officially died in a shootout while avenging his partner’s murder. He, now “dead,” is expendable. Moreover, in his mentally unstable state, he burned the bridges of his former life and, therefore, cannot go back to Michigan. Given a new name — JASON MARAIS, he is “recruited” by former lover, FBI AGENT CHARLOTTE PINKSTON, who helped him bring down his partner’s killers, to infiltrate a white supremacist, anti-government militia group in Montana that intend to eliminate a US senator. In other words, become one of them.
