John T. Moriarty has written essays for the Cleveland Plain Dealer Magazine and short stories for various religious periodicals.  He is listed in the Literary Art's section of Marquis Millennium Edition of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.

He has written five novels, including in chronological order two generations of the Mahony family, each work separate entities unto each other.



Streets of Gold — Parents migration from County Kerry, Ireland to America. (Early 1900’s)


One Square Mile of Mayhem — Family’s struggle living in Cleveland-Glenville’s eastside ghetto.  (Mid 1950’s)


Sister Mommy — Tim’s search for lost legacy. (Early 1960’s)


Honest John — Tim’s reward for assistance in stemming the flow of nuclear holocaust plans. (1962 Cuban Missile Crisis)


Thin Ice — Family’s inheritance finally realized.  (Winter Olympics 1968, Grenoble, France)
